We watched Constantine

Overall, thought it was pretty good. I've always liked Keanu Reeves. And Rachel Weisz hasn't disappointed me in a role yet.

We never took our eyes off the screen. Heaven vs Hell always makes a good movie. I thought it was well done.. the cinematography and special effects were great.

Oh hell, I don't know what else to say... we liked it. Watch it. The end.

It had every right to suck, but somehow it didn't. I've read the comic it was based on for years, over 200 issues now, and although I still think it was horribly mis-cast, I still liked it. I wanted to hate it, but I couldn't. It had little to nothing to do with the comic, and I guess that's why it turned out good. If the movie had been trying to emulate the comic book, Keanu would've fallen flat on his face, as he could NEVER play the Constantine from the book. Glad you liked it!

Love that movie. Loved Gabriel, loved Satan, loved the demons, loved Papa Midnight, loved Constantine's pissed-offedness, loved Rachel. The only thing I didn't like is how damn loud some of the effects were. I kept having to adjust the volume.

LOL on the effects. Same here. Our daughter was asleep in the next room and it actually woke her up. :-|

And I didn't even know it was a comic book. LOL

I need to watch it again since my copy from netflix was scratched all to hell. They still haven't sent our next movies in and its been over a week. I am canceling them today.

This is high on my next-movie list. I've got to find time to watch House of Flying Daggers first, and about eight hours of DVR'd TV.

Maybe I'll skip the Xbox tonight if the honey isn't watching her recorded View/Tony Danza/Oprah trifecta.
